I don't believe that biology is what creates a family. I believe that unconditional love and acceptance creates a family. When I decided to have a Mother's Day giveaway I hoped that the person who won would embody what it means to be a mother; to be selfless and loving. When I met Lindsay I knew the perfect person won.
Throughout the hundreds of pictured I captured only a couple of them had all three of them looking at me. No, it is not what you think, they were wonderful people to photograph. They just couldn't take their eyes off each other. Each moment was genuine, each laugh was true.
I was witnessing such unconditional love between her and him, mother and caught, father and daughter and them all together.
As I watched them touch each other so gently, and speak to each other with such softness I knew I was exactly where I was supposto be, with a family that embodies what it truly means to be family.
